About Maggie

In 2003, I had my first coaching session, and I felt like I was coming home. No one had ever talked to me with such depth and curiousity, both challenging and affirming me at the same time. The process was so fulfilling to me as a client that I decided to become a certified professional co-active coach (CPCC), and obtain the professional associate certified coach (ACC) credential through the International Coach Federation.

Along the way, I've radically changed my life. The changes I've made are here to stay: I devote time to myself, I fail and I recover, I revel in my beauty, I listen within. Part of my journey has been reconnecting with my body.

I live at River Rock Cohousing in Fort Collins, Colorado, where I delight in my exuberant dog, amazing children, and thrill-seeking husband.

Testimonials

You created a very safe space for me to grow. On one hand you are supportive and loving person but you always knew to be a very clear mirror and hold me accountable to my dreams. As a coach in training, I had the privilege to learn a lot from you. You were always open and curious to hear about new ideas. You are an amazing coach. Thanks to your coaching skills and personality, my progress was fantastic and I don't have enough words to thank you for it. My husband was so impressed from my progress that he also hired you as his coach. Nurit Eldar, Israel

Maggie's good at guiding me to what I already know, but I haven't brought to consciousness yet. Sundari Dennis, Arizona

The weight loss strategies class was very beneficial to me. I know look at food in a whole different light. I would strongly recommend this class to anyone who is looking for a true answer to their weight loss problems rather than a quick fix. Weight Loss Strategies participant

This session really opened my eyes to other "walls" I had in my life that I could not get over, that were not food-related. I discovered things about my personality and personal choices that are much more present in my daily habits than I ever realized. I never thought personality traits could affect my diet and food choices so much! I am now much more conscious of what I choose to eat, do, say and think because I now am able to listen to myself. I feel good about my choices because I know I have taken the time to give them full consideration and make the right choice, right now, for ME. ~H.P.

I'm finding that changing how I think about food, and being more attuned to my body's hunger signals is much more effective for managing weight than any "diet" program I've tried in the past. Maggie Graham's "Act From the Heart" weight-loss program strategies helped put me in better touch with myself and my nutritional needs, so I could embark on a path of becoming "naturally thin," rather than constantly battling with my own control issues. Margaret is a generous, thoughtful, and insightful facilitator. Despite the group setting, she excels at giving meaningful individual attention. She hones in on the essential and offers concrete and meaningful strategies. I am fortunate to have participated in one of her weight loss support groups! A. Gaioni, Fort Collins

This kind of processing and deliberate thinking about my behaviors, attitudes and self-talk has really opened my eyes to the bigger picture surrounding my weight and the reasons I have kept it on. It has provided valuable insight for me. JI, Fort Collins

Margaret Graham is a very articulate and insightful personal coach who challenges the barriers we put up for ourselves in a gentle but firm manner. Weight Loss Support Group participant

In the personal coaching sessions I experience Margaret as an extraordinarily gifted active-listener. Deeply rooted in her own centeredness, Margaret's insights are more than just perceptive - they are healing. Each session has prompted an invaluable step into wholeness. Jamie Kepros, Fort Collins
